Hossni "Azaz" Elkazaz is a master tailor and upholsterer who started his craft 40 years ago in Cairo, Egypt. He began in a small, local shop. As a result of his skill and know-how, Azaz attained a leadership position in one of the most prominent manufacturers in Egypt.

Azaz started in Montclair in 1990 with a dry cleaner and tailoring by the name ELK tailors. Shortly after, expanded to a second location. A few years later, Azaz relocated to Verona, NJ. Today, Azaz works alongside his wife, Nadia, who is an expert designer and manager. Nadia partners with Azaz to help ensure finished products have quality and flair. Without Nadia, Azaz would not be where he is today.

Bring any old blouse, jacket, skirt to Azaz, and he can turn it into a brand new item. He can also guarantee the finished product will be unique and custom made—no one else will have anything like it! Azaz tailor is also extremely experienced at home design and drapery. He can make old furniture look new and fresh!

 

Azaz works by one mantra: “There is absolutely not a thing that I can’t do. I will figure some unique way of getting things done to accommodate all and any requests. No item is ever challenging.”
